Assessment profiles

Lists of criteria facilitate comprehensive and systematic analysis of a project’s quality as a whole or of particular aspects relating to quality.

Types of profiles

When creating a new assessment, two distinct types of profiles are available. Unlike description profiles, assessment profiles are inextricably linked to the relevant assessment and cannot be changed at a later stage.

a) Standard profile

The list with the 24 quality criteria forms the backbone of the quint-essenz quality system.

b) Other profiles

This category contains more assessment profiles. They can be used in the same manner as the quint-essenz standard profile, i.e. for facilitating reflection on any project in health promotion and prevention (example: the European list of criteria) or for bringing out the main points of a particular theme (e.g.child protection).

No customized profiles

We firmly believe that quality criteria only contribute to sustainable quality development if they are consensual and predefined by several actors (individuals and/or organisations). It is for this reason that assessment profiles, unlike description profiles, cannot be customized, i.e they cannot be copied and then arbitrarily adapted.
